My Completed Challenge
For this layout, I used the Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla, I love the blues and pinks in this collection.
I started the design by using some of my new Shimmerz products. I laid down a 5″ circle of scrap paper and using a paintbrush I “sprinkled”, Inklingz Corney Flower Blue, Shimmeryz Peaches & Cream & Cyameez Cheeky Pink.
Once my splatters were dry I started placing the die-cut flowers in a wreath shape and just fiddling with them until I found a design I liked. Once I was happy with what I had I started adhering die cuts using regular tape adhesive and then popping some off the page using 3D foam adhesive. I left some of the wreath empty on the left side for the picture.
I cut the blue paper with “All Smiles” and white/pink with blue dots from the paper with 3×4 journal cards. The blue and pink ombre paper measures 4×6. My photo is 3×4 and the pink matt is 4.25 x 6.25. I attached the papers together with regular adhesive and then backed it all with a piece of craft foam to add some dimension to the page.
I completed the page by adding the title “Sweet Memories” and a variety of stickers from the collection.
